While in law school, Mr. Davis worked as a law clerk at the firm while also serving as the Associate Managing Editor of the Washington University Journal of Law & Policy. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Davis gained valuable litigation experience at the Manhattan (N.Y.) District Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Davis is admitted to practice in Missouri and Illinois, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Bar Association of Metropolitan Saint Louis (BAMSL) and the Washington University Alumni Association.
As a trial lawyer, Stephen represents businesses and individuals in a wide variety of business disputes. Many of his litigation matters involve contract disputes, fiduciary disputes, real estate disputes, mechanic’s liens, unfair merchandising practices and fraud. Stephen has also represented individuals seeking to recover for their personal injuries caused by the negligence of another. Stephen represents both plaintiffs and defendants, and advises clients proactively to prevent or minimize litigation, yet, where necessary, he draws on his experience to vigorously represent his clients’ interests. In his representation of Condominium and Community Associations, Stephen provides a full range of client services with an eye toward aggressive and affordable representation. He currently represents over 80 associations.
