Wendy Hazelwood is a vice president at Alliance Association Bank specializing in providing banking products for homeowner associations and management companies. She is responsible for business development in Arkansas,
Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and North Texas. Wendy, currently serves on a few Committees including MOLAC with CAI Heartland as well as a committee chair of the Community Affairs and Clay Shoot Committee for DFW CAI. Wendy is a designated Business Partner with CAI National.
Wendy is no stranger to the community association industry and has been working with associations in Texas for over 20 years. Her experience includes many aspects of the community association industry from DFW regional HOA director at Centex Homes, client manager with Association Capital Bank, business development manager, project and property manager with BPMI Properties, business development manager with FirstService Residential as well as a long time Board Member of her own condominium association.
I’ve been in the industry, and an active member of CAI, for about five years and have worked as both an onsite manager and portfolio manager.
I’m currently manager at CPM and just recently concluded a
four year run on the Board of Directors for the Preston Woods Homeowners Association.
I currently hold the CMCA and AMS designations and am working towards my PCAM.
I have served on our Chapter’s Programs Committee, Membership Committee and
Events Committees and I’m also concluding my first three year term on the Board of Directors for our Heartland Chapter. My current role as Chapter President has been interesting this year to say the least! Pre-COVID, we had exciting plans for the Chapter that have had to be reworked, rescheduled or switched to the virtual arena, which has been an challenging adjustment for us all. I hope to be able to continue my service for the Heartland Chapter as we navigate our new waters and I have my fingers crossed for another future role as President so I can have a re-do!
