CAI members were in the giving spirit this past holiday season. The CAI Communications Outreach Committee created a campaign to provide household supplies for an Angels ‘Arms foster family who lost their home to a fire in September 2016.  Jenny and Shane Tripp (pictured above), along with their foster children, were on holiday when the devastating incident occurred and although they were safe from harm, all their belongings were destroyed in the blaze.

CAI stepped up to help furnish the new foster home with everything from household basics such as dishes and utensils to bedding and cookware. Many CAI members also gave gift cards so the family could fill in the gaps. On January 11th, the Tripp family was presented with the keys to their new Angels’ Arms home and the reveal was filmed LIVE via facebook.

The partnership between CAI Heartland and Angels’ Arms has been going strong for many years. On November 19th, CAI Heartland was honored as the 2016 Business Partner of the Year at the Angels’ Arms annual auction and most recently, Angels’ Arms Board Member Brandon Loescher accepted a check from CAI Heartland at the annual CAI Holiday party on December 7th. We look forward to many opportunities that lie ahead in 2017 for CAI members to support Angels’ Arms.
